Company history


Connect Rail Services Limited was founded in 2010 by Mr. Edeme Kelikume and commenced regular train operations in 2014, developing into one of the main rail cargo aggregators in Nigeria. It was granted permit to operate as an oil industry service company in December 2012 for the haulage of petroleum products across the country. CRS Ltd has attracted interest from important shippers in the international and domestic markets which has led to huge rail freight of cement, beverages, flour, livestock and containers.

    Commenced haulage of bagged Dangote Flour for Dangote Flour Mill Plc from GDNL Lagos port terminal to Kano.

  • 2016 Cattle Rail Haulage

    Commenced Cattle rail haulage from Zamfara to Lagos.

  • 2016 Movement of Ashaka Cement.

    Movement of cement from Ashaka, Gombe State to Kaduna.

  • 2016 Haulage and redistribution of fertilizer.

    Commenced haulage and redistribution of fertilizer from Lagos port to all the LGA in Kaduna state.

  • 2015 Haulage Lafarge bagged cement

    Commenced haulage of bagged cement for Ewekoro to Ilorin, Minna, Kaduna and Kano.

  • 2014 Delivery of diesel (AGO).

    Commenced delivery of diesel (AGO) from Lagos to Kano.

  • 2012 Haulage of bulk wheat and flour.

    Haulage of bulk wheat and flour from Lagos to Ilorin and Ilorin to Lagos respectively.

  • 2012 Executed first MOU with NRC.

    Hauled cassava chips from Shonga farm, Kwara state to Apapa port.
